By now many of you know that I am starting an online wedding magazine called IZZY. Many people have asked me what makes IZZY different from all the other wedding magazines.
This a valid question and one I have been getting quite a bit. So, I thought I would post the reasons IZZY is so unique.
1) IZZY is only an online magazine. The reader may download a copy of the magazine if they wish.
2) IZZY is much more than just a magazine. IZZY is all about multimedia. We will be making use of You-tube, Facebook, Twitter, and our own blog/website to provide additional content between issues and before the release of the premiere issue.
3) IZZY will have it’s own You-tube IZZY branded channel that will feature interviews with vendors and additional content.
4) The editor of IZZY will taking time to interact personally with Facebook fans and those following IZZY on twitter.
5) IZZY is all about providing relevant information for the bride. By doing this the bride will return to IZZY’s different web portals for new information on a regular basis.
6) IZZY will be publishing on regular and consistent basis new information on twitter, Facebook, You-tube, and the IZZY brand website/blog.
7) IZZY will be doing the “legwork” for vendors by keeping up with these new medias. Many vendors do not have the time to consistently maintain all of these online outlets. IZZY will act as a portal for vendors, channeling potential clients to them through these different new medias.
8) IZZY’s main focus is on becoming “the” source of information for brides planning their wedding.
9) IZZY will be featuring only quality vendors; Vendors that truly care about what they do and produce a quality product.
10) IZZY will only have full-page ads. By doing this, the magazine will maintain it’s high quality image.
11) IZZY is not an ad book. The main focus is on content for the bride. IZZY will refuse large blocks of ads.
